Antigua

We successfully navigated the mudslides Friday morning to get to Antigua. It was a pretty grueling six-hour bus ride, in a bus that was definitely not designed for people of Jim´s height.

Haley had a great time in Antigua. Jim, not so much -due to a fever and requirement of a bathroom in close proximity. It was a nice little city, with beautiful Spanish colonial architecture and a massive conical volcano just outside of town. Definitely a place we might find ourselves exploring more in the future.

We left town on Sunday afternoon with a bus-ride, three flights (one a red-eye), a taxi-ride, and two more bus-rides ahead of us. It would be a good twenty-four hours of traveling.
